The neodymium magnets retains strong magnetic powers for its small sizes.The most important universal feature in the modern electric and electronic industry is the widely applications of Neodymium Magnet. Computers,earphones,motors,alternators, sensors, MRI can not work without the neodymium magnet. Neodymium magnet is the most widely used type of Rare Earth Magnet.


Operating the magnet at highest working temperature will decreasing its` magnetism 8~13 % each time of use.Curie temperature for the neodymiumrare earth magnet is from 305~330 ℃. Be careful with product designs and the higher grade of neodymium magnet is required if applied in a  high working temperature.


The ndfeb structure is very vulnerable when meet oxygen, iron element will separate from Nd2Fe14B become Fe2O3 that structure is randomly and will weak the magnetic field which decline the magnetism. Protective coatings has been added to the neodymium magnet to make it more commercial.Usually, coating is through electrical plating.Coatings like the Nickel,Zinc,NiCuNi, Epoxy, Gold, color glaze will be applied as surface treatment.

Main Manufacturing process of ndfeb magnets 

1.Pressing ndfeb garins: pressing process was operated in strong magnetic environment.

2.Sintering of ndfeb blocks: sintering was processed in a vacuum furnace.

3.Wire cutting: ndfeb magnets are fragile materials operated in wire cut machines for the

tailored irregular shapes.

4.Grinding processGrinding process: To reach the tolerance of magnets.

5.Plating: Neodymium magnets had been treated with different platings to prevent rust. 

The popular platings for neodymium magnets are epoxy, nickel, NICUNI ,zinc and even 

silver plating and gold plating.

6.Magnetization: the procedure are processed with magnetization machine with magnetic 

feild ranged from 2~100 koe.
